Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her performances across a range of categories in the film and television theatre. Carpenter stated the actress was his primary choice for the part, but she refused. Anne does not recall John Carpenter contacting her or offer the part. It could be that her agent turned the part down without informing Anne. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft of the script for a role in the tv show Battlestar Galactica from 1978, at first, she was chosen. She initially rejected the part as she believed that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen later wrote an even stronger character with Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted after she read the first 25 pages of the script. It lasted for just one season. Also, she starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. She also co-starred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
