Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the United States and is an actor working professionally over the last 27 years. She's been a professional actor for 27 years. Her first stage appearance was in 1990 when she appeared in an off-Broadway adaptation of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. A year later she was cast in her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. In 1992 she got her big break by playing a secondary character in Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she first made her appearance as the female star alongside Tom Cruise. Lexis was born into a household of golfers, that means she wasn't a stranger to this sport that is dominated by males. In her early years she started playing golf and in 2007, at the age of 12, she was the first female to become eligible to compete in the US Women's Open. The event did not go to competition but she did win the Aldila Junior Classic in the following year and became the second. She was the smallest American Junior Golf Association player (AJGA) in addition to as being the youngest to win the Westfield Junior PGA Championship at the at the time.
